TOUCHING PEOPLE
ACROSS THE WORLD

On February 14th, 2004
our 2 week old son Daniel Bradley McLellan was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a form of leukemia that occurs in approximately one in five million newborns. In Daniels short five months of life he made a huge impression on many, touching people across the world.

His struggle to survive, love of life and sunny disposition made us realize the things we take for granted. As a tribute to the love he brought to our lives and the valuable lessons he taught us we decided to turn this tragedy into something remarkable, The Daniel McLellan Memorial Fund.

Ethical Fundraising

The Daniel McLellan Memorial Fund is accredited as an adherent to the Imagine Canada Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code. Charities that adopt this code commit to fundraising practices that respect donor's rights to truthful information and to privacy.

They also commit to manage responsibly the funds that donors entrust to them, and to report their financial affairs accurately and completely. Further information about the financial accountability code and Imagine Canada can be found at: www.imaginecanada.ca
